Meet Dr. Christopher Gorrell

Dr. Christopher Gorrell is an affirmed apostle, prophetic minister, ordained preacher, pastor, educator, and mentor whose ministry is rooted in prayer and intercession. He serves as Executive Pastor of The Merge Cathedral and works closely with his father, Apostle Dr. Stanley J. Gorrell, who leads both The Merge Cathedral and The Merge International Network. Within this shared vision, Dr. Gorrell carries responsibility for strengthening, supporting, and praying for the network’s international leaders, alongside his work in international missions. He brings more than a decade of pastoral, youth-ministry, leadership, and administrative experience. Prophetic ministry is a central expression of Dr. Gorrell’s calling, carried alongside his apostolic assignment and grounded in prayer, Scripture, and spiritual accountability. Through prophetic preaching and ministry, he seeks to encourage, strengthen, and refresh believers and leaders while honoring pastoral leadership and pointing people toward Jesus Christ. Through his personal itinerant ministry, Dr. Gorrell serves churches locally and worldwide through biblical preaching, prophetic ministry, and leadership development. He is building Revival Nights and gatherings where prophetic voices can be refreshed and strengthened for ministry. Prayer is central to this work, shaping his commitment to spiritual renewal, healthy leadership, and service to the local church. Grounded in spiritual accountability, formal theological education, and compassion for people, Dr. Gorrell approaches every invitation with respect for pastoral authority and the vision of the house. His education includes an associate degree in Christian Theology from Grace Bible College & Seminary and a Bachelor of Science in Biblical and Religious Studies from Isaiah University. Whether serving in a revival, conference, Sunday service, leadership gathering, workshop, or virtual setting, his purpose is to honor the local church, strengthen leaders, restore lives, and communicate the hope of Jesus Christ with clarity, conviction, and humility.
